For our client a leading Software company based in Dublin City Center, cooperating with the top companies in Ireland we are seeking to recruit a Unix Support Specialist. The successful candidate will join a highly motivated and professional team.UNIX Support SpecialistJSE/HRKI/USS/08Job Functions:* Technical Support for Unix Servers within the Bank* Installation/Maintenance* Performance Monitoring/Tuning* Capacity Planning* Design of Unix Solutions* Some DBA work, OracleJob Scope:The role is to support various Unix servers within the bank. The flavours of Unix include HP-UX, AIX and Solaris. There are a number of high availability solutions in the bank which are configured and supported by this team and the current storage vendor is EMC. The Unix team supports various Business Units within the bank, Capital Markets, Goodbodys, Ark Life, Off-Shore and various application types, Oracle database environments, Internet applications, firewalls, MQ, Connect Direct, Websphere.Key skills:• 4 years + Unix Sys Admin experience (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX)• IT degree• High Availability Software experience – Veritas Cluster Software, MC/Serviceguard• EMC Storage• Network: TCP/IP, NFS, NIS• Some Oracle, Connect:Direct, MQ, NBU, etc• Change, incident and problem management• Strong inter-personal skills• Ability to plan and progress changes and to work to tight deadlines• On-call cover may required Basic salary is 60.000-75.000 Euro per annum, depending on experienceIf you feel that you are suitable for such a role please email your CV for an immediate interview.jse@hrk.plOgłoszenie w HRK.pl Więcej
